This has to be one of our favorite stories on the internet. There is simply so much here to unpack. But the most important thing, without a doubt, about this story, is that sometimes… people are just good people. The ex-boyfriend did a terrible thing, of course, but you could argue that maybe he had a reason. The ex - the one who stole the cat back - she had no real reason to do what she did, to take on that risk. But she did it, and whatever her reasons might have been, we can only say thank you.

At the very least, these two have every single reason to stay friends. This is the kind of person that you want to keep close - not only because they are awesome, but also because you totally do not want to end up on their bad side. If these are the lengths to which she was willing to go essentially for a complete stranger, imagine the kind of chaos she would cause for someone she didn't like.
